*It is hard to get the away from the media now days as media is everywhere. Media comes in all different form such as internet, newspaper, radio and moving images. Media has a major influence of the audience as it influences us in everyday life and influences us by buying products and item they may persuade us to buy via T.V adverts*.

*Billboards are a major way of influencing the mass media. For example if you are waiting in traffic you can read and focus on billboards around you, and as you are waiting for the traffic to move you take interest in the billboard and what it had to say*.

*However some may argue, that media is a bad influence and is; brainwashing’ young minds as well as the mass media audience. This means adverts such as Mc Donald’s has a major impact on the way children are thinking about food as they assume and are somehow forced to think that burgers , chips are a healthy and rewarding thing to eat such as happy meals as they involve free toys, which obviously attract children *

* Critics argue the media is getting more violent as for new technology they are changing. Such as violent films like ‘My Bloody Valentine’. This involves a 3d glass which enables us to as the audience to view the film*

*150 years ago media was seen as a fantasy such as even appearing on TV was major thing, and photographs were only taken by the rich and wealthy as they were new it was a privilege to have a camera take your photo specially family portraits*

*By the arrival of video and computer games young boys and girls do not go out as much they used to , as they are attracted towards theses video games which keep them occupied most of the time*

*The arrival of media has changed a lot as before media was enjoyed in large theatre audience in some way it has now split people up, there is different genres which target different aud9ences now*

*The media is often experienced by people alone, critics has talked about media audiences as atomised*
